Pecks Lake Properties is for houses and lots that are for sale by owner. Peck's Lake is located in the Southern Adirondacks, outside of Gloversville, NY.
The lake is approximately 1,370 acres, 5 miles long and 2 miles wide, and is man-made. The lake has not been affected by acid rain or other problems prevalent in the Adirondacks, and is filled with all types of fish including Northern Pike, Pickerel, Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Perch, Trout and many others. The lake allows for boating, fishing, water skiing, canoeing and small sailboats. Jet Skis are not allowed.
Your evenings will be filled with the sounds of the loons, geese and ducks that live on the lake, along with wildlife that typically live in the Adirondacks. The lake is quiet; this is not a party-lake and most residents would agree that is one of the best reasons to live there.
Pecks Lake is approximately 50 miles from Albany, NY, and 200 miles from New York, NY. Gloversville is easily accessible from the NYS Thruway (Amsterdam or Fonda Exit on I-90).
